The Spanish side had an underwhelming start to the season which saw them 5-5 after 10 rounds but they stormed up the table thanks to six consecutive wins. However, since beating Real Madrid in their final game of 2022 to move top, Baskonia have lost two in a row, beaten by strugglers ALBA Berlin and Bayern Munich.
Baskonia have come out victorious in five of the eight meetings between the two sides, with their last win coming back in October.
