PSG will be looking to put their Ligue 1 campaign back on track when they welcome Strasbourg to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday at 8pm (UK time).
PSG haven’t had the best of starts to the Ligue 1 campaign as they would have been expecting before a ball was kicked this season. They currently find themselves third in the standings, although they are just one point adrift of current leaders Lille.
Thomas Tuchel’s men actually drew 0-0 against Lille last time out, a game in which they managed to deliver just one shot on target.
At home, the Parisians have already lost two games in eight Ligue 1 matches so far this season, while their recent form on home soil reads just one victory in the previous three games.
However, they should be able to get all three points here as they have never lost at home against Strasbourg in 29 Ligue 1 matches, while they also boast a record of just two defeats in the previous 25 league games against them, coming in 2005 and 2017.
On the flip side, Strasbourg’s four-game unbeaten streak in the league ended at the weekend as they lost 2-0 at home against Bordeaux. Prior to that defeat, Strasbourg looked in good shape having scored eight goals in three consecutive league outings.
Furthermore, Strasbourg have won three of their five league trips so far this season and are currently on a two-game winning streak on the road, keeping a clean sheet in both of those matches, against Nantes and Angers.
Can PSG put their Ligue 1 campaign back on track? Or will Strasbourg secure a third consecutive away win?

PSG and Strasbourg’s previous line-ups:
- PSG (vs Lille): Navas; Kehrer, Marquinhos, Kimpembe*; Florenzi*, Rafinha, Gueye, Verratti, Kurzawa*; Di Maria, Kean.
- Strasbourg (vs Bordeaux): Kawashima; Caci, Djiku, Simakan, Lala; Sissoko, Aholou, Chahiri, Thomasson, Bellegarde; Ajorque.
PSG have a long list of injured players with the likes of Juan Bernat, Danilo Pereira, Abdou Diallo, Alessandro Florenzi, Mauro Icardi, Presnel Kimpembe, Neymar and Pablo Sarabia all currently on the sidelines. Layvin Kurzawa is also a major doubt.
Meanwhile, Strasbourg will make the trip to Paris without Bingourou Kamara, Lamine Kone, Lebo Mothiba, Idriss Saadi and Matz Sels as all of them are on the sidelines due to injury. We will probably see a five-man defence here, which means that Habib Diallo and Stefan Mitrovic might feature in the starting line-up.
