Uruguay odds: To win 2022 World Cup, how far will they go, top scorer and more

Can two time winners Uruguay bring back the glory days in Qatar?
Two times winners Uruguay have not made it past the quarter-finals of the World Cup in the last 52 years and will be hoping this is this the year they can bring back the glory days, or reach the semi-finals at least.
Their chances will be boosted with the emergence of young forward Darwin Nunez who had been banging in the goals for Benfica, that earned him a big move to Liverpool, to go alongside the know-how of Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Fede Valverde will provide them with a strong base in midfield, while CB Diego Godin will be putting his body on the line in what will be his final tournament.
Uruguay to win 2022 World Cup odds
Uruguay are currently 45/1 to win the 2022 World Cup.
The Uruguayans finished third in South American qualifying behind Brazil and Argentina, finishing with a 0 GD after winning eight of their 18 matches.
They have now qualified for each of the last four tournaments, with their quarter-final defeat at the hands of France in 2018 being their best finish since they finished fourth in 1970.
