Cameroon odds: To win 2022 World Cup, how far will they go, top scorer and more

Cameroon will be making their eighth World Cup finals appearance in Qatar.
The Indomitable Lions have struggled to make an impact in recent editions with them failing to go beyond the group stage in each of the last five tournaments they’ve been a participant.
The five-time African champions are still dreaming of another memorable run which Roger Milla and company experienced at Italy 1990, back then Cameroon reached the quarter-finals and even led would-be semi-finalist England. Can this current generation finally match their predecessors or will it be another group stage exit?

Cameroon were in the same CAF qualification group with Ivory Coast and they were able to finish two points above their west African rivals. In the following round Cameroon met Algeria and would advance via the away goals rule.

Cameroon subsequently found themselves in Pot 4 for the World Cup draw meaning they would be the underdogs in whichever group they were placed. As it turns out, Rigobert Song’s men will be facing two European dark horses and the record champions.

He is 80/1 to add the World Cup Golden Boot to his collection.
