Partizan will be hoping to tighten their grip on a EuroLeague playoff spot this week. While a 5-8 record after 13 games isn’t a disaster, it does leave Zalgiris two wins off the play-in places, meaning there is work to be done if the Lithuanian side harbour playoff hopes.
The hosts actually started the season well with three wins from their opening four games, but they then suffered four consecutive losses to fall down the rankings. Even when that run was ended in victory, Zalgiris haven’t been able to find consistency with two wins from their last five, including back-to-back losses going into this game.
