Wales go into their final group game, against Georgia, knowing that a win will see them top the group at the Rugby World Cup on Saturday (2pm BST).

The Welsh side have performed above expectations so far, and a knockout stage appearance is already guaranteed for Warren Gatland’s side.

It hasn’t quite been the same for Georgia, who have struggled to live up to their billing as dark horses in the tournament.

Wales vs Georgia Betting Tips

Wales to secure top spot

Wales go into their final group game in a much more favourable position than many expected pre-tournament, becoming the first team to qualify for the KO’s after their superb victory over Australia. They still need a win to guarantee top spot, with Fiji ready to pounce, and have named a very strong lineup to make sure they end the group stages on a high before a likely quarter-final against Argentina or Japan.

Georgia, by contrast, who went into this tournament with high hopes, have been massively disappointing, failing to win a game so far and already with no chance of qualifying for the knockout stage. Their inspiring win over Wales back in November now seems a long way away and they will be desperate to prove a point in this match and end their tournament in a positive manner.

Given the contrasting performances from both sides, Wales should win the game fairly comfortably and cover the -18.5 handicap, whilst also looking to expand their attacking game ahead of next weekend’s quarter-finals.

Zammit and Faletau to lead

Georgia should come out firing before fading in the second half, and Wales should be able to convincingly secure the win. Both Louis Rees Zammit, and Taulupe Faletau, will be key players for Wales and tries could be on the cards for both players.
