South Africa lock horns with Australia in the second Cricket World Cup semi-final on Thursday (8.30am BST).

The two teams enjoyed identical records in the group stage, winning seven and losing two of their nine matches, though the Proteas prevailed by 134 runs when the nations faced off during the opening phase of the tournament.

A showdown with either India or New Zealand awaits the winners of this clash in Sunday’s final.

South Africa vs Australia Betting Tips

De Kock has already racked up 591 runs at this World Cup, a tally only bettered by India talisman Virat Kohli (594).

That included a stunning 174 against Bangladesh during the group stage – one of four centuries he has hit already.

De Kock will be a key player in South Africa’s quest to reach the final.

The same can be said for Australia’s Adam Zampa – the leading wicket taker at this World Cup with 22.

The leg break has also registered a joint-high three four-wicket hauls along with India’s Mohammed Shami.

He will need to be at his brilliant best again to stop De Kock and co on Thursday.
