Both sides will be looking for victory as New Zealand and Uruguay go head to head at the Rugby World Cup on Thursday (8pm BST).

The All Blacks need to pick up a victory to secure their route to the knockout stage, although an Italy defeat to France could also be enough for New Zealand to secure qualification.

Uruguay need to pull off a massive shock, beating New Zealand comprehensively, whilst also needing France to put Italy to the sword to make the next round.

New Zealand vs Uruguay Betting Tips

New Zealand to flex their muscles

New Zealand enter the match as heavy favourites and will be looking to assert their dominance as they attempt to qualify. They’ve put up 70 or more points in their last two games and that could prove to be the case again here.

Uruguay haven’t been disgraced in this tournament though, holding both France and Italy to less than 40 points and beating a poor Namibia side, but the chances of them coming out of this match with desired victory is well reflected by the 65.5 handicap offered for this match.

New Zealand are likely to field a strong line up as they chase the win and they should beat the -65.5 handicap with relative ease.

Tip: New Zealand -65.5 @ 9/10 with BetUK

Tries aplenty for All Blacks

With a backline of Leicester Fainga’anuku, Will Jordan & Damian McKenzie, New Zealand could run riot and combine for at least 5+ tries between them (if odds available) with any/all of them to be targeting at least 2 tries each (possibly even consider a hattrick from one of them, odds dependant)

Tip: Fainga’anuku, Jordan and McKenzie all to score a try anytime @ 13/10 with bet365
