The 2024 Australian Open main draw gets underway on Sunday, and Jannik Sinner will be among the first to start his journey. Sinner is the world no.4 and among the favourites for the tournament, having reached the final of the ATP Finals where he was only beaten by Novak Djokovic.

Van de Zandschulp had a bit of a struggle in 2023, not making it past the fourth round of any of the ATP Masters 1000 tournaments as well as losing his sole 250 Series final at the Bavarian Championships.

He has also already played two tournaments to start the new year, turning up at the Hong Kong Open and ASB Classic. In Hong Kong, Van de Zandschulp was beaten in the second round, and he also exited in Auckland at that stage.
