Matchweek 20 in the Premier League sees the final fixtures of 2023 and welcomes in the first of the New Year.

Sheffield United’s away form so far this season has been woeful, with seven defeats and two draws from their nine league matches on the road. Few will be forecasting anything other than another difficult day at the office for the Blades when they visit Manchester City on Saturday.

Chris Wilder’s struggling side have twice lost 5-0 on their travels and another defeat by five or more goals is 4/1 with CopyBet. Even the most optimistic Sheffield United fan might be fearing the worst but those that still want to back the men from Bramall Lane can do so at a massive 20/1.

From one out of form team to one that is well and truly on a hot streak, Bournemouth head into their match against Tottenham Hotspur on a run of seven games unbeaten. The Cherries have won six of those and have netted three times in each of their last three outings.

Spurs have themselves picked up form in recent weeks as they bid to get back into the top four. But having been beaten on home soil three times in their last five, the North Londoners could be vulnerable to Andoni Iraola’s impressive outfit. Bournemouth are 3/1 for the win and 1/1 to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with at least a point.

One of the more intriguing matchups this weekend could come at the City Ground where Nottingham Forest under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo welcome a Manchester United side who remain decidedly unconvincing despite a stirring comeback against Aston Villa last time out.

Forest were superb in victory at Newcastle on Boxing Day and will be hoping to put on a similar kind of showing in front of their home fans after four consecutive defeats on their own turf. Meanwhile, United’s 3-2 triumph over Villa was their first success in five games and also their first goals in that period. Much will depend on which Manchester United show up on the day but Erik ten Hag will be hoping to make it back to back victories for the first time since November, an outcome that punters can back at 6/5.
