PSG will be looking for a seventh victory in a row in Ligue 1 when they make the trip to the Stade de la Beaujoire to face Nantes on Saturday at 8pm.
Nantes were on a four-game winless streak in Ligue 1 prior to their 3-1 home victory against Brest a fortnight ago. This leaves them 15th in the league table with just eight points to their name and two clear of the relegation zone.
Five of their last six league outings have seen three or more goals scored, and the positive thing for Nantes is that they have been a solid side at the Stade de la Beaujoire, where they have won two and drawn one of their three games so far this season.
PSG meanwhile made a concerning start to the new season, losing their opening two games against Lens and Marseille. But, Thomas Tuchel has since masterminded a turnaround in the capital, winning each of their previous six league matches, including a comfortable 4-0 home victory against Dijon last weekend.
A 2-0 win away at Istanbul Basaksehir has since followed in the Champions League and Tuchel will be eager to continue that good work this weekend. His side are currently in their habitual position atop the Ligue 1 table and enter this contest against Nantes with the hosts having only won once in their last 17 encounters.
Can Nantes make it two in 18? Or will PSG extend their winning streak in Ligue 1 to seven consecutive wins?

Nantes and Paris Saint-Germain’s previous Ligue 1 line-ups:
- Nantes (vs Brest): Lafont; Corchia*, Castelletto, Pallois, Fabio*; Chirivella, Abeid, Louza, Blas, Coco; Kolo.
- Paris Saint-Germain (vs Dijon): Rico; Dagba, Pereira, Diallo, Bakker; Marquinhos, Draxler, Rafinha; Sarabia, Neymar*, Kean.
Nantes will be without Fabio, Andrei Girotto, Kalifa Coulibaly and Sebastien Corchia, which will mean a complete defensive overhaul for manager Christian Gourcuff, which is far from ideal preparation with the prospect of facing Kylian Mbappe. Nicolas Pallois is also missing the game due to a suspension to add to the extensive list of absentees.
As for PSG, their injury list includes several players such as Neymar, Juan Bernat, Julian Draxler, Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi and Leandro Paredes. Angel Di Maria will serve out the final game of his four-match suspension, meaning Pablo Sarabia and Moise Kean are likely to retain their places from last week’s win against Dijon.
