Some players are blessed with the ability to create chances – and others are not.
It takes a particular type of player to be able to carve out an opportunity for their teammate by spotting a gap in a defensive line, whether through producing a pinpoint pass, whipping in a stunning cross, or executing an accurate set-piece.
The Premier League is usually home to some of the finest chance creators in the game, and the 2019/20 campaign was no different. Unsurprisingly Kevin De Bruyne came out on top having created 136 chances across the season, the only player to have surpassed 100. His closest challenger was Jack Grealish, 45 chances back on 91.
