Porto will be looking to keep control of the Primeira Liga title race when they travel to face Moreirense on Sunday at 8pm (UK time).

Sergio Conceicao’s men are currently six points clear at the top of the Primeira Liga table, still unbeaten after 22 matches. Last weekend they came from 2-0 down against title rivals, and defending champions, Sporting to draw 2-2 to keep their lead but they will want to avoid any slip ups. Moreirense, meanwhile, are fighting the drop and currently sit in the relegation play-off zone, just one point ahead of 17th-place Arouca but also one off safety as things stand.

Porto team news

Porto’s 2-2 draw with Sporting last weekend ended in a mass brawl and the Dragons had two players sent off right at the end. But Pepe will be a big miss, also sent off in the brawl, while Wilson Manafa is injured.

Porto predicted XI: Costa; Mario, Mbemba, X, Zaidu; Otavio, Vitinha, Uribe, Viera; Martinez, Taremi.
