Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier has admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League.
Meunier joined PSG in 2016 but has struggled to nail down a consistent place in the French side, leading to the Belgian being linked with a move away.
One of the teams reportedly interested in the 27-year-old is Manchester United, who are looking to replace the outgoing Antonio Valencia at right-back, giving Diogo Dalot time to improve.
And while Meunier confirmed there is interest in him from English clubs, the Belgium international also admitted a move elsewhere could be on the cards.
“Yes, but not only there,” he told L’Avenir when asked if he knew of interest from England.
“It comes from everywhere. Even from China or the Middle East.”
Meunier then went on to reveal he would be open to leaving France for the Premier League, though admitted he would be disappointed if PSG did not offer him a new contract with his present deal expiring in 2020.
He added: “I never hid it [Premier League interest].
“The discussions with management are hanging around a bit. I can understand because of the deadlines of the team that my personal case was put in the fridge, but since then nothing has happened, the message seems clear enough.
“It would annoy me a little if it ends like that, without having the opportunity to finish beautifully.
“It’s true, I had a rough season, but a title is still a title and I am very happy. You know, even if I only took part in four or five matches in 2019, my stats, offensive and defensive, are among the best in the PSG defence alongside [Juan] Bernat’s.
“Last year, although I had played less than during my first season in France, I felt I had progressed. Here, it’s the same.”

How does Meunier compare to Bernat and co.?
Due to injury problems, Meunier has managed just eight Ligue 1 appearances for PSG since the start of 2019 – though five of those were starts.
And while his stats may not match up to his fellow defenders as Meunier suggests, which is understandable given game time, the Belgian has made a good case for himself per 90.
Since the start of 2019, only Thilo Kehrer has won more tackles per 90 minutes than Meunier among PSG defenders, with 2 to the Belgian’s 1.87. Meunier has also averaged 0.21 goals per 90 since January 1, more than any other PSG defender.
However, the Belgian is still some way behind the likes of Colin Dagba, Kehrer and Marquinhos with regards to interceptions, averaging 0.83 per 90 – the third worst among PSG defenders to play a game since January 1.
