The first golf major of 2023 is just around the corner, with the elite of the golfing world travelling to Augusta for the US Masters.

Masters 2023: UK start time
The 2023 Masters will take place from Thursday April 6 to Sunday April 9th from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Play gets under way at 1pm BST on the opening two days, with play starting at 3pm over the weekend.

Rory McIlroy enters the Masters off the back of five top 32 finishes in his last five tournaments, including wins in the CJ Cup in South Carolina and the Dubai Desert Classic.
The current world number three has never won the Masters but comes into the tournament in good form and with some promising signs that point towards a win.
Scottie Scheffler, the current joint-favourite for the tournament, won last year, but no one has been able to retain their crown since Tiger Woods won back-to-back Masters in 2001 and 2002.
