Manchester United and Southampton meet at Old Trafford on Tuesday at 8:15pm (UK time) seeking a return to winning ways.
The Red Devils could only manage a 0-0 draw against Arsenal last time out following their shock 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United, while Southampton have lost all three of their matches since a 1-0 win over Liverpool.

Man Utd vs Southampton build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
After puffing out their chests and declaring themselves serious title contenders, Man Utd fans might well be blushing somewhat after taking just a point from their last two games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are still second in the Premier League table, but have now slipped three points behind rivals Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
Southampton, meanwhile, have dropped into the bottom half of the table after three consecutive defeats. Ralph Hasenhuttl will no doubt be disappointed by his side falling away in the European race, but he and his players can be forgiven considering the horrendous injury crisis they’re suffering right now.
- Man Utd (vs Arsenal): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay*, Fred; Rashford, Fernandes, Pogba; Cavani.
- Southampton (vs Aston Villa): McCarthy; Ward-Prowse, Bednarek, Stephens, Bertrand; Walcott*, Romeu*, Diallo, Armstrong; Ings, Redmond.
Phil Jones remains Man Utd’s only long-term absentee, although Scott McTominay remains doubtful after coming off injured against Arsenal.
The same cannot be said for Southampton, who have eight players out injured, including Oriol Romeu, Jannik Vestergaard and Kyle Walker-Peters. Theo Walcott is also a doubt while new arrival Takumi Minamino will not be able to debut here.

Player to watch: Edinson Cavani (Manchester United)
The equation is plain and simple for Man Utd heading into Tuesday’s match: win or risk doing irreparable damage to your title challenge.
Solskjaer will take heart in the fact the Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 10 games against Southampton across all competitions, winning five and drawing five during that time.
United had to do it the hard way earlier this season, however, overturning a 2-0 deficit in the second half to leave the south coast as 3-2 winners. At the heart of that remarkable turnaround was Edinson Cavani, who assisted Bruno Fernandes’ strike to make it 2-1 before single-handedly turning the game on its head with two goals.
Since then, Cavani has just two goals in 12 appearances across all competitions but with Southampton racked with injuries, the Uruguayan might well fancy his chances of adding to his tally.
