Houston Dynamo will want to return to winning ways in MLS when they travel to the Banc of California Stadium to face Los Angeles FC on Thursday at 02:30 am (UK Time).
Los Angeles FC have had a slow start to this MLS season, but they now find themselves fourth in the Western Conference table, just five points off second-placed Sporting Kansas City thanks to a 2-0 win over city rivals LA Galaxy last weekend.
LAFC should feel more than confident ahead of this tie, as their form at the Banc of California Stadium has been excellent over the past two months. Los Angeles FC have won five of their last six home games in MLS, while scoring at least two goals in each of them.
On the other hand, Houston Dynamo’s form over the past two months has been abysmal. They have just one win in 11 league games and enter the fray on the back of a four-match winless streak. Dynamo still managed to get two points from their last two meetings with Minnesota United and Columbus Crew, but they are still outside the play-off positions at the moment.
An away win seems unlikely, with Houston Dynamo winning just one of their 11 away trips this season, and yet to taste victory on the road against LAFC.
Will Los Angeles FC secure their 8th home victory of this MLS campaign? Or will Houston Dynamo break the curse and win their first away match in two months?

Coach Bob Bradley can’t rely on the help of Mark Kaye and Andy Najar, as both will sit out the clash due to injuries. Apart from these two, Los Angeles should have their best lineup on the field against Houston Dynamo, with Carlos Vela pushing for a start following his return.
Michael Salazar is a long-term absentee for Houston Dynamo as he is suffering from a knee injury. Adam Lundqvist is another player that will miss this match, still serving suspension for a bad tackle vs Minnesota United, for which he was initially only booked.
