Liverpool have certainly had their injury problems this season, one of the factors that has led to a disappointing season for the Reds. Things are looking much rosier for Jurgen Klopp now though with no fresh injury concerns following their 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
The return from injury for the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz has given Liverpool a renewed freshness on the pitch and the results, and performances, have reflected that.
Some doubts over the fitness of Konate, who is struggling with an unspecified knock. Klopp is erring on the side of positivity though.
“‘Ibou, we need to see how it is with him, but in the moment, I am rather positive, but that doesn’t mean a lot,” the German revealed on Tuesday.
Roberto Firmino remains sidelined and he’ll be hoping to make a return to the side before the end of the season and end of his contract. The same can be said for Naby Keita, who continues to struggle with a muscle problem, whilst Stefan Bajcetic and Calvin Ramsey will play no further part this season.
