Liverpool vs Leeds United has been postponed. The following article will be updated once a new date has been confirmed.
Liverpool will be looking to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City when they host Leeds on Sunday at 12:30pm (UK time).
The Reds are three points behind Man City after 18 games having drawn against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, their fifth stalemate of the season. It ended their run of eight straight wins across all competitions but Liverpool have still lost just one game in 2021/22, fewer than any other club in the Premier League. Leeds, meanwhile, are down in 16th after their third consecutive defeat at the weekend, being beaten 4-1 by Arsenal. Their past three matches have now seen Leeds lose to Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal by a combined scoreline of 14-3.

Liverpool team news
Andrew Robertson is still suspended for Liverpool following his red card against Tottenham last week which gave him a three-match ban. Virgil van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara are also missing from the Liverpool team, but the Reds will look a lot closer to full strength than they did against Leicester in the EFL Cup, with Jurgen Klopp rotating. So Konstantinos Tsimikas should start at left-back to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s right, and Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will return to the starting XI. Diogo Jota is likely to get the nod over Roberto Firmino too, as the latter played the full 90 minutes against Leicester.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Konate, Tsimikas; Henderson, Milner, Keita; Salah, Jota, Mane.
Leeds team news
Leeds are one of the worst-hit sides in the Premier League right now for injuries and absentees, missing no less than 10nineplayers going into Boxing Day. A positive is that they can call upon Junior Firpo after suspension and Jack Harrison may be available, but Leeds will be without the likes of Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo and Daniel James.
Leeds predicted XI: Meslier; Firpo, Ayling, Koch, Dallas; Forshaw; Raphinha, Klich, Roberts, Harrison; Gelhardt.
