Europe’s top five leagues may have reached their conclusion but that doesn’t mean club football is done just yet.

With some other nations running on a separate calendar, you can pretty much get your club football fix on any given day. So, if you need something to get you through until the Champions League final and Euro 2020, you’re in the right place.

In Austria, the battle for a place in the inaugural Europa Conference League is in full swing. After beating Hartberg 3-0 in the playoff semi-finals, Austria Wien now face Wolfsberger AC in a two-legged final to see who will take their place in Europe’s new third-tier competition next season. Wolfsberg won a 3-2 thriller the last time these two sides met but Wien will draw plenty of confidence from cruising past Hartberg, so we could be in for another high-scoring affair.

Toulouse vs Nantes (7:45pm, UK time)

After easing past Grenoble, Toulouse now face a fierce two-legged battle with Nantes for the right to play in Ligue 1 next season. Le Téfécé were only relegated from the top-flight last term but could seal an immediate return here. Of course, should that happen, it would relegate Nantes, who have been in Ligue 1 since 2013 but slumped to an 18th-place finish this season.

Ingolstadt vs Osnabruck (5:15pm, UK time)

Speaking of playoffs, there’s also a battle for a place in next season’s 2. Bundesliga going on right now. After finishing third in the 3. Liga, FC Ingolstadt go head-to-head with the second tier’s 16th-placed side, Osnabruck, across two legs. Ingolstadt have the momentum, coming this game on an eight-game unbeaten run, while they won their last two matches of the 3. Liga season by an 8-2 aggregate scoreline. Can they seal a return to the second division after a two-year absence?

Palmeiras vs Universitario de Deportes (11pm, UK time)

Palmeiras have already sealed progression to the Copa Libertadores knockout rounds but for Universitario de Deportes, this final Group A match still has plenty riding on it. The Peruvian side are level with Independiente del Valle on four points, with the latter facing Defensa y Justicia on Thursday night. If Universitario can pick up a result against their illustrious Brazilian opponents, that may be enough to see them into the Copa Sudamericana knockout rounds, if coupled with a Defensa win in the other Group A match.

Venezia vs Cittadella (8:15pm, UK time)

Live stream option: Bet365*

With Empoli and Salernitana already promoted, we’re finally about to find out who will complete the 2021/22 Serie A season. After picking up a 1-0 away win in the first leg of the promotion playoff final, Venezia host Cittadella looking to get the job done. The hosts finished just two points and one place above the visitors during the regular season and are looking to seal a triumphant first promotion to Serie A since 2001. Relative minnows at this level, Cittadella are trying to reach Serie A for the first time, though they have lost a couple of playoff finals in the past.
