Lazio vs Torino build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
Although they cannot finish any higher or lower than sixth, Lazio will head into this match with a point to prove after a disappointing 2-0 loss to fierce rivals Roma last time out. Simone Inzaghi’s men might well have been in the race for Champions League football had it not been for some terribly inconsistent recent form but instead, they’ll now be using this time to prepare for next season.
Given their current predicament, Torino will be quite glad Lazio have nothing to play for. Il Toro can confirm their safety with a draw here but head into this match off the back of consecutive defeats to AC Milan and Spezia by humiliating 7-0 and 4-1 scorelines. Should Torino lose, they will have to negotiate what is effectively a relegation playoff on the final day of the season against Benevento, the team currently three points below them in 18th.
- Lazio (vs Roma): Reina; Marusic, Acerbi*, Radu; Lazzari, Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas, Alberto, Lulic; Muriqi, Immobile.
- Torino (vs Spezia): Sirigu; Izzo, N’Koulou, Bremer; Vojvoda, Rincon, Mandragora, Lukic, Ansaldi; Sanabria, Belotti.
Joaquin Correa was only fit enough for the bench against Roma last time out but should be good to start here. Francesco Acerbi is both injured and suspended. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic should once again play with a protective face mask after having surgery on a broken nose last week.
Midfielder Karol Linetty returns from suspension, offering a huge boost to Torino. Nicola Murru remains doubtful.

Player to watch: Andrea Belotti (Torino)
If anyone is going to fire Torino to safety, it’s Andrea Belotti. Despite his side’s struggles, the Italy international has still managed an impressive 13 goals and six assists in Serie A this season, with eight of his strikes coming from open play.
Belotti ended a five-game barren run with a strike against Spezia last time out but as has often been the case this season, his defence couldn’t follow his example, conceding four goals against Serie A’s 15th-placed side. But Belotti was on target the last time Torino faced Lazio in a 4-3 defeat. This time, he’ll hope his goals can inspire a result that secures their safety.
