Kasimpasa vs Besiktas build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
With the final international break of the season over, for Kasimpasa it’s a return to their fight against relegation from the Turkish Super Lig. The Apaches are 16th in the league and just two points clear of the relegation zone with 15 defeats from their 30 matches so far. Kasimpasa are winless in their past five league games, form that contributed to the departure of Fuat Capa at the start of the international break. He has been replaced by Senol Can, who left eighth-placed Fatih Karagumruk.
It’s a baptism of fire for Can, with Besiktas looking to extend their unbeaten run in the league en route to what would be a 14th title, and first since 2016/17. Besiktas have lost five times in the league this season but four of those came in the first 12 matches of the season. Since their most recent defeat, to Trabzonspor at the end of January, Besiktas have gone unbeaten in eight games, winning six. Last time out, they were held by Fenerbahce, but Besiktas will be confident of a return to winning ways this weekend.
- Kasimpasa (vs their Genclerbirligi): Kose; Hadergjonaj, Sadiku, Tosic, Haddadi; Drinkwater, Kara; Koomson, Hajradinovic, Erdogan; Kiese Thelin.
- Besiktas (vs their Fenerbahce): Destanoglu; Rosier, Vida, Welinton, N’Sakala; Josef, Hutchinson; Ghezzal*, Ljajic, Larin; Aboubakar.
Rachid Ghezzal is suspended for Besiktas for an accumulation of yellow cards, with Ajdin Hasic, Cenk Tosun and Dorukhan Tokoz also absent. Armin Hodzic, Derric Luckassen and Julian Jeanvier are out for Kasimpasa.

Player to watch: Vincent Aboubakar (Besiktas)
With assist king Ghezzal suspended, Besiktas will be even more reliant on Vincent Aboubakar to bring the goals for them this weekend. The Cameroonian has scored 15 goals for Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig so far this season, more than any other player at the club, although Cyle Larin is a close second with 14.
Aboubakar has also recorded more assists than any other player that will be available for the weekend’s clash, with five, only bettered by Ghezzal’s 13. The 29-year-old is the spearhead of Besiktas’ attack but he links up seamlessly with the players behind him, and it’s their understanding that has Besiktas as the top scorers of the Turkish Super Lig this season.
Against a decent that has conceded 47 goals in 30 games, Aboubakar could have a good afternoon.
