Spezia vs Juventus build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
Now in their second season as a Serie A club, Spezia will be looking to build stability in the top flight and ensure they are not relegated come the end of the season. They endured a tough start to the campaign, failing to win any of their opening three matches, drawing one and losing twice, including a 6-1 thrashing against Lazio. However, they finally got their first league win of the season at the weekend, beating Venezia thanks to an injury-time winner from Mehdi Bourabia.
To say Juventus’ start to the season has been poor is an understatement. The Bianconeri have been a disaster despite Allegri’s return and, after four games, are still awaiting their first league win. The new campaign started with a 2-2 draw with Udinese in which they gave up a 2-0 lead and they followed that up by losing 1-0 to Empoli. After the international break there was another defeat, this time to Napoli before AC Milan took a point after Juventus had taken an early lead. With two points from four games, Juventus are currently 18th, and Allegri has dubbed this game a ‘relegation six-pointer’.
“Looking at the table right now, Spezia v Juventus is a relegation six-pointer,” he said.
“We need to be realistic, we can’t talk about our goals as it stands.”

Player to watch: Paulo Dybala
If Juventus are to get out of this domestic funk, they’ll be quite reliant on Paulo Dybala. The Argentine forward has been directly involved in five goals in his past five Serie A appearances, scoring two and recording three assists.
It was he who set up Alvaro Morata for Juve’s early goal against AC Milan at the weekend, and he was also involved in both goals in the season opener against Udinese, scoring and setting up Juan Cuadrado. He carried that form over to the Champions League too, getting Juve’s second in their 3-0 win over Malmo – the only victory of their campaign so far. Finally being given a real chance in the starting XI again, Dybala is proving his quality.
