Juventus’ quest to continue their Serie A domination continues on Saturday as they host local rivals Torino in the Derby della Mole at 4:15pm.
The Bianconeri are currently four points clear of Lazio at the top of the table with nine games remaining, in search of a ninth consecutive title. After losing out in the Coppa Italia, Juventus have marked their return to league action with three straight wins, scoring nine goals and conceding just one – albeit against teams further down the table.
Another bottom-half side await them on Saturday, with rivals Torino in 14th and in danger of being dragged into the relegation battle. Il Toro have been in poor form either side of the break, losing eight of their past 10 Serie A games, although their only points (one win, one draw) have come since the league resumed.
Torino may take heart from the fact they have drawn two of the past three Serie A meetings between these two sides at the Allianz Stadium, including last season’s fixture. But Juventus look unstoppable of late, winning their past six league games since a shock defeat to Hellas Verona in February.

Juventus & Torino’s previous line-ups:
- Juventus (vs Genoa): Szczesny; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Bonucci, Danilo; Rabiot, Pjanic, Bentancur; Bernardeschi, Dybala, Ronaldo.
- Torino (vs Lazio): Sirigu; N’Koulou, Bremer, Lyanco; De Silvestri, Lukic, Meite, Rincon, Aina; Verdi, Belotti.
Neither side has any fresh injury concerns ahead of the Turin Derby, although Torino could be boosted by the return of former Juventus forward Simone Zaza.
Players to watch:
Juventus: Cristiano Ronaldo. Ordinarily, when a forward reaches his mid-30s, it is a reasonable to expect they begin winding down. But even at 35, Ronaldo is anything but ordinary. The Portuguese forward has enjoyed another strong season in Serie A and has been key in recent weeks as Juventus look to keep hold of their title. Since the Serie A returned in June, Ronaldo has been directly involved in four goals, scoring three and adding one assist. Only Parma’s Andreas Cornelius (five) has been directly involved in more during that time. Ronaldo’s total tally for the season now reads 24 goals and four assists and, remarkably, he has only failed to be directly involved in a goal on five of his 25 Serie A appearances this season. However, one of those occasions came in the reverse fixture against Torino, with Ronaldo undoubtedly looking to right that wrong this time around.
Torino: Ola Aina will be one of the men tasked with keeping Ronaldo and Co. quiet over the 90 minutes on Saturday, but the Nigerian may also be playing for a move. The Chelsea academy product has enjoyed his first season as a permanent Torino player, having spent last season on loan at the club. The 23-year-old featured 24 times in Serie A so far this season, mostly operating as a left wing-back despite being naturally right-footed. But that has not stopped Aina from having a good campaign defensively, winning 129 duels (56.33% success) and making 32 tackles so far. His performances have seen Aina already linked with a return to England, with the likes of Everton and West Ham reportedly interested.
