One of Ajax’s Champions League stars could join Inter, says agent
Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico could move to Inter Milan in the summer, according to the player’s agent Ricardo Schlieper.
From Javier Zanetti to Mauro Icardi, Inter have garnered a reputation for signing some of Argentina’s best talent over the years and, now, it appears Tagliafico could become the latest to add his name to that list, with the Italian giants in the market for a left-back.

“Inter and Italian football are always attractive destinations for Argentine players,” Schlieper said.
“Let’s not forget, like it was once said, that we’re Italians who speak Spanish. Everything’s very familiar. It’s like being at home.”
Tagliafico has played a key role in Ajax’s remarkable run to the Champions League semi-finals, scoring three goals in eight games so far as the Dutch side have dumped out Real Madrid and Juventus in the previous two rounds.

Inter the latest in a long line of Tagliafico’s admirers
Just last month, reports emerged that Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona were both lining up a summer move for Tagliafico, such has been his form this season – the Argentina international has added to his three Champions League goals with another strike and four assists in the Eredivisie.
However, the player himself remained calm when addressing the speculation, insisting he doesn’t want to ‘disrespect’ Ajax by fuelling a rumour mill.
“I am enjoying life and football. We are privileged as footballers,” he said at the time.
“Our work is something fascinating and something we love to do. I enjoy playing for the national team and my club. I can’t think of what’s coming, that’s disrespectful to my club.”
Ajax’s Champions League adventure continues when they face Tottenham in the semi-finals.
