Hoffenheim will look to end a run of seven games without a win when they host FC Koln on Wednesday evening.
Die Kraichgauer took the lead early on against Paderborn last time out but found themselves level within five minutes and were forced to grind out a 1-1 draw. That result leaves them without a win since February — a run which has seen them slide to ninth in the Bundesliga table.
FC Koln also drew their last game, although they’ll be in a much better frame of mind having battled back from 2-0 down in the 88th minute against Fortuna Dusseldorf to salvage a 2-2 draw. A win here for the Billy Goats would see them leapfrog Hoffenheim in the table.
Both sides have an outside chance of finishing in a European spot between now and the end of the season, so who will come out on top here?

Hoffenheim & FC Koln’s previous line-ups:
Hoffenheim (vs Paderborn): Baumann; Kaderabek, Bicakcic, Hubner, Posch; Rudy, Grillitsch; Skov, Baumgartner, Zuber; Bebou.
FC Koln (vs Fortuna Dusseldorf): Horn; Ehizibue, Bornauw, Leistner, Katterbach; Skhiri, Hector; Kainz, Uth, Jakobs; Cordoba.
Players to watch:
Hoffenheim: Hoffenheim are the joint-sixth-lowest scorers in the Bundesliga this season with just 36 goals from 27 games and if they’re to mount a serious challenge for the Europa League places, they simply must start finding the net more. With Andrej Kramaric still struggling with a knee problem, the goalscoring baton is likely to pass to Robert Skov once again. The Danish wideman opened the scoring against Paderborn last time out, taking him to four goals and four assists in the Bundesliga so far this season.
FC Koln: Stopping the opposition has been Koln’s main problem of late, with Markus Gisdol’s side failing to keep a clean sheet in each of their last four games. To help steady the ship, Gisdol will look to the experience of Jonas Hector, who has filled in at both left-back and defensive midfield this season. The 29-year-old has been kept incredibly busy this season, making a team-high 116 tackles and managing a further 41 interceptions — only Ellyes Skhiri has made more.
