The Grand National (5.15pm UK time)

Last year’s winner Minella Times goes in at 9/1 to win Saturday’s Grand National, scheduled for 5.15pm. Rachael Blackmore, who became the first female jockey to win the Grand National last year, will again pilot the Henry de Bromhead-trained horse.

The Grand National comes hot on the heels of a brilliant Cheltenham for Blackmore, who led home a De Bromhead one-two to make history in the Gold Cup. On Saturday, she will aim to add her name to a six-strong list of elite jockeys to have won the Grand National on multiple occasions.

But Minella Times will face fierce competition from a clutch of contenders, including favourites Snow Leopardess, Delta Work and Any Second Now.
