Fenerbahce travel to Goztepe on Monday night (5pm kick-off, UK time) looking to keep pace in the Super Lig title race.
The Yellow Canaries currently sit fifth in the Turkish top flight, but some 13 points off Trabzonspor in first, though the Istanbul club do have a game in hand. Goztepe meanwhile are slogging it out near the foot of the table, and are currently six points adrift of safety.

Goztepe vs Fenerbahce build-up, previous line-ups & injury news:
It has been a difficult season for Nestor El Maestro’s Goztepe, who have collected just two wins from their opening 13 games and enter this contest winless in four. The Izmir-based club, though, beat Fenerbahce when these sides met in Istanbul last season, so they will know they can cause another huge upset here.
Vitor Pereira’s men travel to the Gursel Aksel Stadium fresh from a huge Intercontinental Derby win over arch rivals Galatasaray last week, which also ended a run of four games without a win. They suffered three successive losses in that run, so Pereira will know the importance of that win over Galatasaray to rejuvenate the spirits and generate momentum heading into this must-win fixture.
- Goztepe (vs Kayserispor): Egribayat; Arslanagic, Nukan, Cankaya; Paluli, Ayodogdu, Nwobodo, Emir; Akbunar, Ndiaye, Lourency.
- Fenerbahce (vs Olympiacos): Ozer; Osayi-Samuel, Tisserand, Kim, Novak; Yandas, Sosa, Zajc; Kahveci, Rossi, Berisha.
Yalcin Kayan remains out of action for the hosts as he serves the second game of his three-match ban, while Goz Goz will also be without Kerim Alici and Marko Mihojevic. For the visitors, manager Pereira will continue to be without stalwart and vice-captain Luiz Gustavo, who hasn’t featured since coming off injured against Konyaspor last month. Enner Valencia and goalkeeper Altay Bayindir are also on the sidelines, so 21-year-old Berke Ozer will continue to deputise between the sticks in the absence of the latter.
Player to watch: Diego Rossi (Fenerbahce)
Diego Rossi has been a revelation since trading MLS for the Turkish Super Lig, with the 23-year-old Uruguayan swapping Los Angeles FC for Fenerbahce in a loan deal during the summer, with an option to buy. If early form is anything to go buy, the Istanbul club will likely exercise that option to make Rossi a permanent fixture at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. The Montevideo-born forward has already bagged two goals in the Super Lig, and added a further four assists to make him the club’s chief playmaker this term. His latest assist came at the death last week in the Intercontinental Derby, in which he set up team-mate Miguel Crespo for Fenerbahce’s 94th-minute winner over bitter adversaries Galatasaray.
