Everton are not having the best of season’s under Marco Silva, currently sitting 18th in the Premier League.
With just two wins from their opening eight games, questions are already being asked on whether Silva can take the Toffees forward.
Away from the real world, things aren’t too bad for Everton on FIFA 20, where the Toffees boast a 4.5-star rating for the seventh year in a row. But who are the players getting them to that rating?
We’ve got you covered. Read on for Everton’s FIFA 20 player ratings and stats in full, as well as some tips.
Squad list is based on players in latest downloadable update at time of publication.
Everton’s FIFA 20 ratings: Goalkeepers
Much like in real life, FIFA 20 Everton will be heavily reliant on Jordan Pickford, whose overall rating of 83 is eight higher than second-choice Jonas Lossl.
Everton goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 20: Jordan Pickford (83), Jonas Lossl (75), Maarten Stekelenburg (73).
Everton’s FIFA 20 ratings: Defenders
Everton are in dire need of defensive stability and it translates to an average squad on FIFA 20, with only two players rated 80 or above. Yerry Mina, who was supposed to be a rock for the Toffees, comes with a low rating of 78, just one ahead of converted midfielder Fabian Delph – listed as a left-back for FIFA 20.
Player to poach: Young Ryan Astley has the biggest potential growth for Everton in FIFA 20, with the possibility of rising from 61 to 82 rated – a jump of 21. While he will never be spectacular, if you strike early enough, Astley could be a good squad addition for a middling Premier League club or top signing for the Championship.
Everton defender ratings for FIFA 20: Lucas Digne (83), Michael Keane (80), Seamus Coleman (79), Yerry Mina (78), Fabian Delph (77), Djibril Sidibe (77), Leighton Baines (75), Mason Holgate (75), Cuco Martina (70), Morgan Feeney (64), Ryan Astley (61), Matty Foulds (61), Lewis Gibson (61).
Everton’s FIFA 20 ratings: Midfielders
Everton’s midfield is only slightly better than their defence, with three players 80+ including Gylfi Sigurdsson. The summer’s new arrivals, Alex Iwobi and Jean-Philippe Gbamin, are both rated 79, the same as attacking star Richarlison, who some may feel has been slightly underrated by those at EA Sports.
Player to poach: Everybody who knows Everton, knows Tom Davies, but that’s what would make poaching him even better. Starting as 75-rated and most likely out of the Everton team given those ahead of him, Davies has the potential to rise to 82, turning into a decent midfielder for your team.
Everton midfielder ratings for FIFA 20: Gylfi Sigurdsson (83), Andre Gomes (80), Bernard (80), Richarlison (79), Alex Iwobi (79), Jean-Philippe Gbamin (79), Theo Walcott (77), Morgan Schneiderlin (77), Tom Davies (75), Beni Baningime (67), Anthony Gordon (59).
Everton’s FIFA 20 ratings: Forwards
At least with Everton’s defence and midfield they had 80+ rated players. When it comes to their attack, the Toffees are poor, with no player over 77 – a rating shared by Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Player to poach: It’s a boring option, but Moise Kean is a must sign as early as you can. The Italian striker has tons of potential and can reach as high as 89, turning into one of the best attacking players in the game if used right. But don’t sleep on him, he won’t stay 76 rated for too long.
Everton forward ratings for FIFA 20: Cenk Tosun (77), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (77), Moise Kean (76), Oumar Niasse (73), Ellis Simms (64), Manasse Mampala (63).
