Arsenal are experiencing their second season under Unai Emery in 2019/20 and despite some problems, there is promise.
The Gunners as a whole are rated 4.5 stars for the third year in a row having enjoyed the highs of 5 stars in FIFA 16 and FIFA 17. But across individuals, there are a mixture of high and low ratings for Arsenal’s players, ranging from 88 to 57.
But who do these ratings belong to, and what about the rest of the squad? We’ve got you covered. Read on for Arsenal’s FIFA 20 player ratings and stats in full, as well as some tips.
Squad list is based on players in latest downloadable update at time of publication.
Arsenal’s FIFA 20 ratings: Goalkeepers
Arsenal will be very much reliant on the form of Bernd Leno this season, and the German is certainly one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. This is reflected in his FIFA 20 ratings, with the German coming in at 84, keeping his rating from FIFA 19.
Arsenal goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 20: Bernd Leno (84), Emiliano Martinez (75), Matt Macey (66).
Arsenal’s FIFA 20 ratings: Defenders
Defence has always been Arsenal’s weakness, but FIFA 20 has been kind to two of their centre-backs. Sokratis top scores on 84 while summer signing David Luiz sits on 83. Shkodran Mustafi hasn’t been as fortunate, however, with his overall dropping from 82 in FIFA 19 to 79 this time around. Ainsley Maitland-Niles also appears as a defender this year.
Player to poach: At 21, Konstantinos Mavropanos is by no means a FIFA 20 wonderkid, but the 70-rated centre-back could be a good signing for your career modes. Getting him potentially cheap, the Greek defender can rise as high as 82, turning into a solid defender as the game goes on.
Arsenal defender ratings for FIFA 20: Sokratis (84), David Luiz (83), Hector Bellerin (80), Shkodran Mustafi (79), Sead Kolasinac (79), Rob Holding (76), Kieran Tierney (76), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (75), Konstantinos Mavropanos (70), Zech Medley (63), Tolaji Bola (57), Joseph Olowu (57).
Arsenal’s FIFA 20 ratings: Midfielders
While he may play more as a winger in real life, Arsenal’s record signing Nicolas Pepe finds himself among the club’s midfielders in FIFA 20 with a rating of 83 – solid enough for a young player who has the world ahead of him. He is two higher than new club captain Granit Xhaka.
Player to poach: Bukayo Saka has been one of the young stars of the season so far for Arsenal, with some Gunners fans calling for the 18-year-old to be starting in the Premier League. If you play your cards right on FIFA 20, you could be benefiting from his potential rating of 86, growing from an initial 65. But strike early.
Arsenal midfielder ratings for FIFA 20: Mesut Ozil (84), Nicolas Pepe (83), Lucas Torreira (82), Dani Ceballos (81), Granit Xhaka (81), Matteo Guendouzi (76), Calum Chambers (75), Joseph Willock (67), Bukayo Saka (65), Robbie Burton (58), James Olayinka (55).
Arsenal’s FIFA 20 ratings: Forwards
The mean rating of Arsenal’s forwards may not look too good, but this is due to younger stars who have not reached their peak yet. The Gunners do still have two of the top 100 players in among their attacking options, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the club’s highest rated at 88, with Alexandre Lacazette two behind on 86.
Player to poach: Emile Smith Rowe starts FIFA 20 with a rating of 65, but if things work out in his favour, the English teenager could rise as high as 83. While this is not the highest rating for a top club, it could make Smith Rowe a star for mid-table sides, or make for a tidy profit if he’s signed early enough.
Arsenal forward ratings for FIFA 20: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (88), Alexandre Lacazette (86), Reiss Nelson (72), Gabriel Martinelli (68), Emile Smith Rowe (65), Tyreece John-Jules (58), Nathan Tormey (55).
