Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is the new favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.
The Blues were outclassed by Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge with Pep Guardiola’s side taking a three goal lead inside 35 minutes through Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden and Kevin de Bruyne.
Callum Hudson-Odoi pulled back a late consolation goal for the hosts but the result heaves the pressure on Lampard with the Blues having now lost four of their last six matches.
The result in west London has seen Lampard move to 11/10 with Sky Bet as the next top flight manager to lose his job, with Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder drifting to 3/1.
Chelsea have sunk to eighth in the Premier League, nine points off leaders Liverpool and now just three ahead of Arsenal in 11th.
The Athletic report the Chelsea hierarchy is now looking at alternatives to Lampard with his position at the club in serious jeopardy.

- Steve Bruce (8/1)
- Mikel Arteta (10/1)
