With Storm Eunice taking hold over most of the UK, eyes have turned to the sporting world and which events might be affected.  None more so than the footballing calendar, with a full fixture list taking place across Saturday and Sunday in the Premier League and EFL.

There are some big contests scheduled to take place across the country and fans will be hoping that games featuring their teams will go ahead as planned. Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur in the biggest Premier League clash this weekend, whilst Peterborough United travel to Derby County in a match that could have huge implications on the Championship relegation battle this season.

Forecasters have warned that Eunice could be the worst storm to hit the UK in 30 years with the South of England set to be the worst affected area of the UK, with winds of up to 90 miles per hour. Red weather warnings have been issued for large areas, leaving Southampton’s game against Everton, Bristol City’s clash with Middlesbrough and Exeter’s home game against Barrow at the highest risk of being called off.

We’ll be keeping you up to date with developments as they happen as the football fixture list fights against Storm Eunice.
