Sports Interactive have extended the period over which Football Manager 2020 will be completely free and available to play for another week.

The offer was first introduced on Wednesday, 18 March, and now ends at 3:00pm (GMT) on Wednesday, 1 April, with PC and Mac users able to download and access the game via Steam.

Once the offer expires, users can continue their journey by purchasing the game at any time, with progress being saved in either your Documents folder or the Steam Cloud, so no need to worry if you’re on a roll.

The announcement comes amid the coronavirus pandemic and with many households experiencing a period of self-isolation in an effort to contain COVID-19.

With football – and sport – in England and across most of the world put on hold for the time being, Sports Interactive’s offer presents the perfect opportunity for fans to satisfy all of their football cravings.

Tired of waiting for Leeds to end their Premier League wait? Desperate to restore Manchester United back to the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson? Or just fancy dipping your toes in the dugout? Well, now is your chance.

If you already have a Steam account then just click on the above link and hit the download button. The game will be available to access for seven days in your library.

If you don’t already have a Steam account, then just go to www.steampowered.com, click on ‘Install Steam’ and follow the instructions. Once installed you’ll be able to follow the above steps and begin your journey.
