Villa however, recorded back-to-back wins and clean sheets against Everton and Crystal Palace to end a run of three consecutive defeats in the Premier League as they aim to win three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since March 2022 and move themselves up to 11th.

Lukasz Fabianski remains out after fracturing his cheekbone against Nottingham Forest, so Alphonse Areola will continue in goal, while Vladimir Coufal also missed out once more.
Michail Antonio will be assessed after picking up a muscular injury after scoring twice against AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League, therefore Danny Ings looks set to start against his former side. Pablo Fornals has scored in each of his last three Premier League games against Aston Villa, but may have to do with a place on the bench.
