Jayden Nelson and Liam Millar netted in the second, and while Cuba converted two penalties the Reds came out on top 4-2 to secure a runner-up finish in Group D. These sides have met 39 times before with the USA boasting a 17-10 head-to-head record. This match also marks the USA and Canada’s second meeting in a knockout competition this summer. On that occasion, team USA were led by Chris Richards and Folarin Balogun who sealed a 2-0 win en route to CONCACAF Nations League success.
