Tottenham go into this game fourth and can tighten their grip on a Champions League spot, with Newcastle United not playing this weekend. The north London side are currently one point clear of fifth-placed Newcastle, though will have played two games more by the time the weekend is over.
After a tough start to the year, Tottenham have now won three of their past four games, beating Fulham, Manchester City and West Ham – though they were pulled apart in a 4-1 defeat by Leicester.

Tottenham team news & predicted XI
While results on the pitch have been improving, February hasn’t been a good month for Tottenham in terms of injury. Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentacur are all on the sidelines for Tottenham, with the latter now out for the remainder of the season.
Fraser Forster has deputised in goal in the absence of Lloris and will continue there with the Frenchman not expected back for another month. In front of him, the back three of late has been Eric Dier, Clement Lenglet and Cristian Romero and that may continue, with Ben Davies the preferred option at left wing-back.
On the right, Emerson Royal has stepped up his performances since the January signing of Pedro Porro and won’t drop his place. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been holding the midfield, joined in recent times by Oliver Skipp, and there is no reason for that partnership to be displaced.
The biggest question comes in attack. Harry Kane is a guaranteed starter and Dejan Kulusevski will probably fancy his chances, but the final position is less certain. Richarlison started in the front three against West Ham but Son Heung-min came off the bench to score after dealing with a fitness issue.

Chelsea are seriously struggling right now and go into this London derby without a win in their past five matches, part of a wider run of just two wins in 11 game since returning from the World Cup break. While on its own that run would be considered bad, it’s made worse for Chelsea considering their January transfer spend.
In the January transfer window, Chelsea spent just under £300m on eight new players, with four coming for over £30m each. But since the close of the January transfer window, Chelsea have drawn two matches and lost two, including the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.
As a result, Graham Potter’s job has been thrown into doubt with some fans calling for the manager to be sacked, just five months after he was brought in to replace Thomas Tuchel.
However, Enzo Fernandez — Chelsea’s record signing who joined for £106m in January — has pleaded for fans to trust the players and the manager.
“When you get that amount of young lads — and we’ve all had 20 days to get to know each other on and off the field — when you’re talking about the standard of football here in the Premier League it’s hard to gel as a team,” Fernandez told the Times.
“My message would be to the fans: trust the players, trust the backroom staff, trust the manager, because we are all moving in the same direction. We have got a lot of new faces here and it is a restructuring of the club, really, and the playing staff. I would encourage them to be patient.
“We know it’s a tough standard. But we’ve been given all the tools we need by the coaching staff and the manager here. It’s just a case of being patient and we will get to know each other.”
Fernandez has already become a guaranteed starter for Chelsea and will continue in the midfield against Tottenham at the weekend, potentially joined by Mateo Kovacic. Chelsea have been boosted by the return to training of N’Golo Kante, but the Frenchman is not yet ready to feature.
At the back, Edouard Mendy is still out so Kepa Arrizabalaga will retain his spot in goal, while Reece James will return at right-back, especially with Cesar Azpilicueta out after suffering concussion in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend. Joining James in defence will be Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile, who has made himself at home already, and Marc Cucurella could get the nod over Ben Chilwell.
Further up the pitch, Kai Havertz should get his starting spot back from David Datro Fofana, playing just ahead of Joao Felix. On the wings, Raheem Sterling made his return and could start, while Noni Madueke has certainly impressed since his move.
