Cristian Romero missed the draw with Brentford having returned late from the World Cup, owing to celebrations after winning the tournament with Argentina. However, Sunday’s game against Aston Villa was earmarked as the potential return match for the centre-back – while Rodrigo Bentacur is also in contention following injury.
Djed Spence may also be available for selection but he hasn’t found favour with Antonio Conte this season, while Richarlison and Lucas are both injured.
