Southampton team news

Romeo Lavia has had time to recover during the World Cup break and will be hoping to be fit in time for the visit of Lincoln. Meanwhile, Armando Bella-Kotchap has returned from World Cup duty with Germany and could be in line to get some minutes.

Long-term absentee Tino Livramento returned to training last week, which will be music to the ears of the Southampton faithful after some impressive displays at full-back last term, but this game may have come too soon for the former Chelsea man. Kyle Walker-Peters is also nearing a return.

Lincoln City team news

Lincoln will be once again be looking to Ben House and Jack Diamond to provide the goals, with both players sitting as their joint top goalscorers in League One this season with five apiece. Regan Poole and Paudie O’Connor have both played every minute of every league match this campaign and will be hoping that run continues in the cup.

Scoreline prediction: Southampton 3-0 Lincoln City
