Real Betis vs Burnley match preview:

The first leg of Real Betis’ pre-season has had a very English feel to it, starting with two friendlies in England against Monaco and Middlesbrough. Their next game sees them take on newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley but interestingly that isn’t being played in England, instead seeing Real Betis return to Spain. After taking on Burnley, Real Betis then travel to Mexico and America for two more friendlies against Sevilla and finally Real Sociedad. Although Real Betis haven’t spent any money in the summer transfer window so far, they have managed to add quality to their squad with Isco, Marc Bartra, Hector Bellerin and Ayoze Perez all coming in on free transfers. However, they have said goodbye to Sergio Canales, who joined Liga MX side Monterrey.

Burnley have two more games in pre-season before they begin life back in the Premier League, travelling to Germany to face Mainz in their final friendly next weekend. While some teams like to set up a camp for pre-season, Burnley have been going on a European tour this summer, playing friendlies in four different countries starting in Portugal against Benfica before taking on Genk in Belgium, Real Betis in Spain and then Mainz. Vincent Kompany has also prepared for the Premier League by bringing in the likes of Zeki Amdouni, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Nathan Redmond and England U21 Euros winner James Trafford.
