Portugal will be hoping to take control of their Uefa Nations League group when they host Czech Republic on Thursday at 7:45pm (UK time).
Fernando Santos’ men are currently top of Group A2 after one win and one draw from their opening two matches, following up a 1-1 with Spain by thrashing Switzerland 4-0. However, they are level on points with second-placed Czech Republic who beat Switzerland 2-1 before a 2-2 draw with Spain, keeping them just behind Portugal on goal difference.

Portugal team news
With Portugal two games deep in the Nations League, Santos may look to slightly rotate his starting XI, though we are still likely to see the big stars in from the off. That means Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line with Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Jota possibly joining him, ahead of Bernardo Silva and Joao Moutinho.
However, the likes of Andre Silva, Matheus Nunes and Rafael Leao will all be looking to break into the starting XI.
Czech Republic team news
Despite their positive result against Spain in which they only dropped points in injury time, Czech Republic did suffer on Sunday. In the first half, Jaroslav Zeleny had to come off injured but his replacement Jakub Jankto only made it to half time before having to be replaced himself due to injury. Milan Havel moved into the left wing-back position for the second half and could start there against Portugal.
Scoreline prediction: Portugal 2-1 Czech Republic
