It’s looking incredibly ominous for the chasing pack in La Liga now as Real Madrid head into this match unbeaten in their last 22 league matches, while they’ve only lost once in their last 33 across any competition. As a result, Los Blancos have opened up a seven-point lead over surprise package Girona at the top of the table, while they’re eight ahead of Barcelona and a massive 14 clear of Atletico Madrid. Real still have one more El Clasico to think about but have already completed their fixtures against Girona and Atletico, so it’s almost impossible to see them dropping enough points to let the title slip from here.

Up next is an Osasuna side sitting comfortably in 10th place, a little too far behind the European race to be considered but 14 points clear of relegation trouble. Jagoba Arrasate’s side lost 2-0 to Girona last week, but that only ended a four-match unbeaten run that saw Osasuna take 10 points and concede just one goal.

Scoreline prediction: Osasuna 0-2 Real Madrid
