Nottingham Forest team news

Taiwo Awoniyi finished the 1-0 win over Southampton last week with fatigue issues and sat out of the defeat to Blackpool at the weekend. While it’s not a long-term problem, the Nigerian isn’t expected to return for the visit of Wolves, neither is Neco Williams who suffered a knock late on in the FA Cup loss.

Forest are also without Jesse Lingard and Moussa Niakhate, who both should be back within a month, but Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards and Cheikhou Kouyate remain longer-term absentees.

Wolves team news

Daniel Podence picked up a knock last week which saw him miss the FA Cup draw with Liverpool, and while he isn’t expected to be out for long, Wednesday’s game may come too soon should Julen Lopetegui not want to take a risk.

Also absent for Wolves will be Pedro Neto, Chiquinho, Sasa Kaladzjic and Boubacar Traore, with Lopetegui confirming the later is out for one or two months.
