Richarlison was filmed jumping around and celebrating after finding out he had been called up to Brazil’s squad for the World Cup, which had some fans pondering his availability for this week’s tie. The Brazilian hasn’t completely been ruled out but may not want to take any risks in returning too soon, to avoid jeopardising his World Cup spot.
But if fit Richarlison could start should Antonio Conte wish to rotate, having played Liverpool on Sunday and facing Leeds on Saturday. His compatriot Emerson Royal did not make the Brazil squad and has been a regular for Tottenham this season, starting 14 matches across all competitions.
However, it hasn’t been a good season for Emerson and Rio Ferdinand believes the fans are starting to have enough.
