Newcastle team news
Nick Pope withdrew from the England squad to face Italy and Ukraine during the international break but should start for Newcastle here, while Miggy Almiron and Emil Krafth will play no part.
Eddie Howe will be buoyed with the return of Joelinton however, with the Brazilian returning from suspension and should go straight back into the starting XI. Forwards Allan Saint-Maximin and Anthony Gordon will both be assessed before the game, but the former has a better chance of starting.
Man Utd team news
Manchester United will be without Casemiro through suspension after his second red card of the season against Southampton before the break, while Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek and Alejandro Garnacho all miss out through injury.
Raphael Varane, Marcel Sabitzer and Marcus Rashford will all be assessed before the game, but the latter is expected to start.
Winger Facundo Pellistri starred for Uruguay in their 0-0 draw with Japan during the break and he is hoping for more minutes for his club side.
