When is Nacional vs Internacional? Kick-off time, referee, TV channel info and live streaming

Nacional and Internacional will be hoping to take a big step towards the Copa Libertadores knockout stages when they face off this week.

With two rounds left to play in the group, Internacional are in prime position to qualify for the knockout stages of the Copa Libertadores. The Brazilian side are top of the group and though they are only one point clear, victory over Nacional will seal a berth in the last 16.

That’s because Nacional are sitting a point back in third and, of course, if they lose they will not be able to catch Internacional. Nacional won’t be completely out of the competition if they lose, however, with Independiente Medellin only able to move three points clear if they were to win. It is still all to play for.

Nacional team news

Camilo Candido and Gaston Pereiro both received their third yellow cards of the season last time out in the Copa Libertadores so will sit out this game due to suspension. Franco Fagundez came off in the second half of that game due to injury but has since returned to action, so will be fine to play here. Renzo Sanchez is the only absentee with a long-term knee injury.

Internacional team news

Charles Aranguiz joined Internacional in April, after leaving Bayer Leverkusen, but he is yet to make his debut for the Brazilian club due to injury. He has been joined on the sidelines by Vitao, who had to come off injured in the 1-1 draw with Santos at the weekend. Igor Motta was the man to replace him late on and he is likely to start at centre-back on Wednesday. Nicolas Hernandez misses out after his red card against Metropolitanos in the previous game.
