Man City vs Arsenal takes place Friday at 8pm (UK time).
One of the Premier League’s top two sides will be out of the FA Cup at the fourth round, as Manchester City host Arsenal. While there is the chance of a replay, Friday could bring an end to one of these side’s cup hopes, and potentially take away momentum in the Premier League title race.
Arsenal haven’t made it past the fourth round of the FA Cup since 2019/20 when they went on to win the trophy, and knocked out League One side Oxford United in the previous round.
Man City, meanwhile, have reached three consecutive semi-finals since winning the FA Cup in 2018/19, and beat last year’s finalists Chelsea in the third round.

Guardiola: Arteta didn’t celebrate goals against Arsenal
As well as Man City vs Arsenal, this game also brings another meeting between Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta. Arteta left Man City to take over at Arsenal in the 2019/20 season, having been Guardiola’s assistant following his retirement.
Some eyebrows were raised at the risk Arsenal were said to be taking, employing someone with no first-team managerial experience when they were in dire need of some stability. But three years on it has proven to be an excellent decision, justifying why Arsenal not only took the risk but also sticking with him during the tough patches.
Ahead of their latest meeting, Guardiola was reminiscing about his time with Arteta at Man City and how he never celebrated goals against Arsenal.
“I know he went to his club. The team he dreams of,” Guardiola told reporters.
“He’s a supporter, he was a captain there. He loves the club. I remember here when we scored goals he jumped a lot except against one team.
“He was sitting there – it was Arsenal. I said ‘that guy likes Arsenal’. Like here, if I’m training as assistant and Barcelona call me, I go.”
Gabriel Jesus will not be able to reunite with his former club just yet, still out injured, and he is joined on the Arsenal sidelines by Mohamed Elneny and Reiss Nelson.
Man City could have a fully fit squad from which to choose, with Phil Foden the only doubt.
Scoreline prediction: Man City 1-2 Arsenal
