The Old Lady will be looking to bounce back after the weekend’s humiliating 5-1 loss to Napoli in Serie A, with Max Allegri eyeing up a fifth Coppa Italia triumph. The Italian coach came up short in last year’s final to Inter, so he will be determined to go one better this season. Monza recorded their first-ever Serie A win against Juventus earlier this season, which incidentally came in Raffaele Palladino’s first game in charge of the club.

Juventus team news

Paul Pogba and Dusan Vlahovic remain sidelined for Allegri, with the former yet to feature this season since returning to Juve, while the latter has been out since the World Cup. Kaio Jorge also remains a long-term absentee for the club after rupturing his patellar tendon last February.

Monza team news

Nicolo Rovella has missed the past three matches for Monza after sustaining an injury at the end of the year. Jose Machin has largely featured in his absence and will likely retain his place here. Giulio Donat is also currently sidelined, alongside Dany Mota, who missed the recent 3-2 win over Cremonese. Patrick Ciurria and Gianluca Caprari stepped up at the weekend to provide the goals instead.
