Juventus look to get back to winning ways as they welcome Bologna to Turin on Sunday evening (7:45pm UK time).

Going into the weekend seven points behind early leaders Napoli is making their home tie against Bologna a must win game for Juventus after winning just two of their first seven league games in 2022/23.

The Old Lady were shocked by bottom side Monza in their previous Serie A outing, with Raffaele Palladino’s side picking up their first ever top flight win against the most successful side in the competition’s history thanks to a 74th minute winner from Christian Gytkjaer.

Bologna, on the other hand, are without an away win this season and have won just one of their 13 games on the road in 2022.

Juventus team news

Angel Di Maria’s red card against Monza means he will sit this game out through suspension, while Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Manuel Locatelli, Alex Sandro, Kaio Jorge and Adrien Rabiot all miss out for the home side through injury.

Arkadiusz Milik is looking to score twice in three consecutive games against Bologna after bracing in his two previous appearances against them for Napoli in 2016 and 2018, while top goalscorer Dusan Vlahovic will be hoping to build on his impressive start to the season after scoring and assisting for Serbia while away on international duty.

Bologna team news

Marko Arnautovic has started the season on fire, scoring six goals in his opening seven league games and currently sits on top of the Serie A goalscoring charts. The former West Ham man is looking to become just the second player to score seven goals in the Rossoblu’s first eight games in a Serie A season after Roberto Baggio in 1997 and score in back-to-back games against Juve in the process.

Sinisa Mihajlovic will be without both Nicola Sansone and Adama Soumaoro, who are both sidelined through injury, while young forward Joshua Zirkzee will be hoping to have a bigger role in the side after playing just 30 minutes of Serie A football so far in 2022/23.
