Josh Cullen will be unavailable through suspension. Head coach Stephen Kenny is expected to field either Alan Browne or Jeff Hendrick as his replacement in midfield. Matt Doherty, who made a rare outing during this campaign, should retain his starting berth at right wing-back.
Armenia team news
Following their respective suspensions Arman Hovhannisyan and Kamo Hovhannisyan will be available for the visitors to call upon. The former is an option to replace Zhirayr Margaryan at left-back if manager Joaquín Caparrós opts for a more defensive shape that sees Armenia deploying three at the back.
