Forest Green Rovers and Birmingham City were due to meet for a place in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday at 12:30pm (UK time) but the match was postponed due to the hosts’ waterlogged pitch.

Details on when the game will be rescheduled will be made public in due course, said a Twitter post made by Birmingham this afternoon.

The hosts are currently propping up League One and enduring a four-match losing streak, while the visitors are 17th in the Championship after three consecutive defeats of their own.

Forest Green team news

Connor Wickham has left the club following the expiration of his short-term contract, dealing Forest Green a real blow up-front — the former Sunderland striker scored nine goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.

New arrival Brandon Cooper could be handed his debut with fellow defender Jordan Moore-Taylor sidelined through injury.

Birmingham team news

Veteran defender Marc Roberts picked up an injury against Middlesbrough last time out, joining Dion Sanderson on the sidelines to leave Birmingham extremely short at the back.

John Eustace is hopeful forward Scott Hogan could return from a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined since before the World Cup.
